How I Love Tech So Much That I Can’t Even Marry a Lady Without Tech Knowledge

Introduction

Passion is what drives our lives. For some people, it’s music. For others, it’s fashion, art, sports, or cooking. But for me, it has always been technology. Tech is not just a hobby I picked up; it’s the blood that runs in my veins, the energy that fuels my day, and the language that shapes how I understand the world.

When people ask me what kind of woman I’d like to marry, they expect the usual checklist: beautiful, kind, supportive, respectful, maybe God-fearing. And yes, those are important qualities. But there’s one thing that I place above almost everything else: tech knowledge.

Some find it strange, others think it’s extreme, but for me, it’s logical. How can I spend my life with someone who doesn’t understand, at least on a basic level, the very thing that defines my life, career, and passion? Tech is not just a field I work in — it’s my way of life.

In this blog, I’ll share my personal journey of falling in love with technology, why it’s such an integral part of my identity, and why marrying a woman with no tech knowledge feels impossible for me. I’ll also explore what it means to build a relationship around shared passions, how the world is evolving into a fully digital age, and why being “tech-literate” in today’s world is as important as being able to read and write.

My Journey into Tech

I was not born into technology. Like many kids, I grew up curious, pulling apart radios, playing with remotes, asking endless questions about how things worked. My first real spark came when I laid hands on a computer. That big, heavy box with a glowing screen was a portal to another universe.

I remember staying up at night, not just to play games, but to explore settings, figure out how to install things, and even break things (only to fix them again). Every click felt like a discovery. By the time other kids were struggling to type, I was already experimenting with programming basics and browsing forums about coding.

Tech became my friend, my teacher, and my playground. When people talk about love at first sight, I smile because my first love wasn’t a person — it was technology. And unlike many relationships, this love has only grown deeper with time.

So naturally, when I think of building a family, I imagine a partner who doesn’t just tolerate my passion but shares it. Someone who understands that debugging code at midnight is not “wasting time” but problem-solving. Someone who can get excited about new apps, artificial intelligence, blockchain, or even simple productivity tools.

Why Tech is More Than a Career to Me

Some people think tech is just a job, a way to earn money. But for me, it’s so much more. It’s:

  • A language: Just like English or French, coding languages are a way to express ideas.

  • A lifestyle: My daily routine revolves around devices, software, and innovation.

  • A philosophy: Tech teaches problem-solving, critical thinking, and efficiency.

  • A community: The tech world is filled with people who are building the future.

When something defines so much of your worldview, it’s impossible to separate it from your relationships. Imagine being married to someone who doesn’t understand why you spend hours in front of your laptop, who gets annoyed when you talk about “cloud storage” or “machine learning.” That gap would grow into a wall, and eventually, it would feel like living on different planets.

Why I Can’t Marry a Lady Without Tech Knowledge

Now let’s get into the heart of the matter. Why is tech knowledge so important to me when it comes to marriage?

1. Shared Passion and Connection

Marriage is about connection. Imagine trying to connect deeply with someone who doesn’t get the core of what excites you. If tech is my passion, how do I connect with someone who doesn’t even understand it? A partner should be someone you can share your wins with — like building an app, automating a system, or creating something new. If she has no tech knowledge, it’s like speaking a language she doesn’t understand.

2. Future-Proof Relationship

The world is becoming digital. From online banking to AI assistants, from smart homes to remote work, tech is everywhere. A woman with no tech knowledge is like someone who can’t read in a world full of books. I want a partner who can evolve with the times, not be left behind.

3. Parenting in the Digital Era

If we raise kids together, we’ll be raising digital natives. Our children will grow up surrounded by gadgets, coding lessons, AI tutors, and virtual classrooms. I want a mother who can guide them, not someone who feels lost when a child asks how to fix a software issue.

4. Respect for My Work

Tech is not a 9-to-5 job; it’s often a 24/7 lifestyle. There are nights when you’re debugging until 3 AM, days when you’re brainstorming, and weekends when you’re on fire with ideas. Only someone with tech knowledge will truly respect that grind instead of calling it “addiction.”

5. Building Together

My dream marriage is not just about romance; it’s about partnership. I want us to build businesses, projects, apps, and legacies together. That requires shared skills. Imagine combining two tech-minds in one household — the innovation would be unstoppable.

What Does “Tech Knowledge” Mean to Me?

Now, when I say I can’t marry a lady without tech knowledge, I don’t mean she has to be a world-class programmer or a cybersecurity expert. Tech knowledge can be broad and flexible. To me, it means:

  • Basic understanding of computers and the internet.

  • Ability to adapt to new software, apps, and tools.

  • Interest in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, data, etc.).

  • Skills in at least one practical tech area (e.g., coding, design, digital marketing, cloud computing).

  • A mindset of curiosity and innovation.

Even if she’s not coding full-stack applications, she should at least be comfortable living in the digital world and learning continuously.

How Love and Tech Intersect

Some might say I’m mixing love and career, but the truth is love and tech intersect beautifully:

  • Communication: Relationships thrive on communication, and tech gives us countless tools to connect.

  • Problem Solving: Tech is about solving problems, and marriage requires the same skill.

  • Innovation: Love should not be static. Just like tech, it should keep evolving and adapting.

  • Productivity: With the right digital tools, couples can manage finances, time, and even health better.

In many ways, being “techy” doesn’t just make life easier — it makes love stronger.

Why Some People Disagree With Me

Of course, not everyone agrees with this view. Some people think love should be unconditional. They argue that you can teach your partner tech, or that passion for tech is not a requirement for love.

I respect that. But for me, it’s about identity. If tech defines who I am, then my partner must at least walk on the same path. Otherwise, it’s not just about teaching — it’s about constantly bridging a gap that may never close.

The Digital Divide in Relationships

There are couples today struggling because one partner is digital and the other is not. One uses online banking, the other still insists on long queues. One shops on e-commerce sites, the other prefers cash and markets. One understands AI, the other thinks it’s “magic.”

These differences may seem small, but over time, they create friction. Imagine planning a smart home with someone who thinks Alexa is “demonic.” That’s not just funny — it’s frustrating.

Building a Tech-Powered Relationship

For me, the perfect marriage is not about avoiding arguments but about building something powerful together. Here’s what a tech-powered relationship looks like:

  • Shared Projects: Starting a side hustle online.

  • Smart Living: Automating the home with IoT.

  • Digital Parenting: Teaching kids coding from early years.

  • Financial Growth: Investing in tech stocks, crypto, or startups.

  • Continuous Learning: Attending tech conferences, bootcamps, or webinars as a couple.

That’s the kind of life I dream of — and it requires a partner who knows tech.

Tech as the New Compatibility Factor

In the past, compatibility was about tribe, religion, family background, or education. Today, compatibility includes digital literacy. A tech-driven person and a non-tech person are like two people on different wavelengths.

When I say I can’t marry a lady without tech knowledge, it’s not arrogance — it’s clarity. I know what kind of life I want to build, and I know the type of woman who can walk that journey with me.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, marriage is about finding someone who understands you, complements you, and walks with you. For me, that understanding cannot exist without tech knowledge.

I love tech too much — it’s my passion, my language, my career, and my lifestyle. To marry someone who has no tech knowledge would feel like living with a stranger. I don’t want to spend a lifetime translating my world to someone who doesn’t get it. I want to build with someone who already shares it.

So, while others may dream of marrying a model, a chef, or an artist, I dream of marrying a tech-savvy woman. Together, we can not only build a home but also innovate, create, and leave a legacy that shapes the future.

Because for me, tech is love. And love, without tech, feels incomplete.
